Winnipeg, June 19, 2003 (ELCIC) -- Etienne and Jeanne Fomgbami welcomed their sixth child and third daughter into the world today. Emmanuelle Magalie Fomgbami was delivered at St Boniface Hospital by Caesarian early Thursday morning and weighed 6 lbs 8 oz. Jeanne and Emmanuelle are both doing fine and are expected to remain in the hospital until Sunday. Please remember their family in your prayers.

They will return to Cameroon in August. An evening of farewell and Godspeed for the Fomgbamis will take place at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Selkirk, Manitoba on July 20, 2003 beginning with a pot luck dinner at 5:00 pm. This will coincide with the signing of the companion covenant between the EELC and the Manitoba/Northwestern Ontario Synod of the ELCIC.
