A Visitor from Norway

Our Saviour's welcomed a special guest on July 27th, a pastor from Den norske kirke, Norway who was in town as a delegate at the Lutheran World Federation Assembly.

Pastor Ingrid Vad Nilsen led us in worship. Following the worship service we held a potluck lunch.

Our attendance for this service was one of the best of the summer—over 70 people attended.

Our Saviour's was founded in 1904 as First Norwegian Evangelical Church and many members take great pride in their Norwegian heritage. Some of the ladies of our congregation dressed in traditional Norwegian outfits to celebrate this visitor from "the old country".

Many thanks to everyone who helped put this together.
