Public Events

All of the worship events, the display area, the Augsburg bookstore and the Luther exhibit were open to the public. Excepting July 27, the Luther exhibit was open daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. All public events were marked 'open to the public' in the event schedule.

Day Visitors

Day Visitors did not register in advance, but registered on site at the Assembly. A daily cost of $10 Cdn allowed them to view the plenary sessions, visit Miriam's Well, join the morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, and thus meet with registered participants. A visitors program was provided during Village Voices sessions (closed to visitors).

Assembly documents and the meal program were not covered by the day visitor fee. There was a $4 Cdn charge for translation headsets, recommended for those viewing the plenary sessions.

A schedule of the plenary sessions was provided on the main assembly site.

Miriam's Well

A place of hospitality and retreat at the Tenth Lutheran World Federation Assembly, sponsored through Women in Church and Society of the Lutheran World Federation; Evangelical Lutheran Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada; and the ELCA Commission for Women and Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Miriam's Well was open from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm in Rooms 9-10-11, West Concourse, Main floor. Everyone was welcome. More
