All of the worship events, the display area, the Augsburg bookstore and the Luther exhibit were open to the public. Excepting July 27, the Luther exhibit was open daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. All public events were marked 'open to the public' in the event schedule.
Day Visitors did not register in advance, but registered on site at the Assembly. A daily cost of $10 Cdn allowed them to view the plenary sessions, visit Miriam's Well, join the morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, and thus meet with registered participants. A visitors program was provided during Village Voices sessions (closed to visitors).
Assembly documents and the meal program were not covered by the day visitor fee. There was a $4 Cdn charge for translation headsets, recommended for those viewing the plenary sessions.
