Issues of Concern:

a) The church needs to work intentionally at being a valued partner with other social agencies to deliver services within a community so that it is perceived as a caring place which is concerned about the welfare of all people.

b) I am also interested in the role which the church plays today in an ethnically and religiously diverse community.

Hopes for the Church:

My hope is that the ELCIC continue to be a voice of moderate Christian witness that can rely upon its traditions for strength and grounding, yet be progressive and relevant to the modern culture. It is also important that the church in all its expressions be encouraged to provide long term financial security to its pastors, diaconal ministers and lay professional workers.
