Concerns and Hopes for the Future of the ELCIC

Concern about the graying membership of the ELCIC; Concern about the number of retiring pastors exceeding the number of ordinands; Hope that the ELCIC will be a loud voice for the poor and other devalued persons in Canada and the world; Hope that the ELCIC will be known as a church that lives out the gospel by walking with those persons devalued by society; Hope that the ELCIC will equip laypersons so as to raise their involvement in the leadership of their congregations, their synod, and National Church.
