ELCIC Global Mission Events ELCA Global Events The ELCIC’s participation in God’s mission in the world is being addressed through a partnership agreement with ELCA Global Mission (GM). The ELCIC endorses and participates in ELCA global events. ELCA GM also offers the regional Global Formation Events (GFE). You can register as a congregational team for a GFE, build skills together and return energized to help your congregation be effective in God's mission locally and in the global Lutheran community. Mission Trip Leaders Training Seminars ELCIC GM is helping to encourage best practices on group mission trips so they are beneficial to participants and overseas hosts alike. By working ecumenically with the Canadian Churches’ Forum for Global Ministries, ELCIC GM is able to offer the Mission Trip Leaders Training Seminars. The fall training seminar occurs in Toronto and the spring seminar occurs at a location outside of Ontario. For further information and registration forms, visit the Forum’s web site. |
