Canadian Churches’ Forum for Global Ministries

The ELCIC is a member denomination of the Canadian Churches’ Forum for Global Ministries, an ecumenical Christian agency through which the Canadian churches reflect and work together on global ministry programs of education, training and dialogue. Other members of the Forum include the Anglican Church of Canada, the Presbyterian Church in Canada, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto, the Scarboro Missions and the United Church of Canada.

The Forum offers programs for people involved in intercultural ministry and global mission including Orientation for Global Ministry, Re-entry for Overseas Personnel and the Mission Trip Leaders Seminar. The Forum also produces program-related print resources which are available for purchase. Bonnie Weppler is the ELCIC representative on the Forum’s Board of Management. Both the ELCIC and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America make use of the Forum’s programs and resources.
