Signs of Hope, Practices of Love is the new campaign of the ELCIC’s Global Hunger and Development Appeal (GHDA). Through this campaign, we will work as a church to deepen our commitment and involvement in the work of justice which God calls us to.

Signs of Hope, Practice of Love represents the work that all of us do together, as disciples of Christ to address issues of poverty and injustice at home and around the world. Everyone is invited, both as individuals and as church, to both give and become involved so that we can be a Sign of Hope for the world as we engage in Practices of Love.

This campaign will consist of a series of initiatives which will be developed over the coming years. We will begin with two initiatives.

  1. The first initiative will be the ELCIC's Stewardship of Creation initiative through which our church will begin to green our ministry and work to be good stewards of God’s great gift of creation.

As we continue through the Signs of Hope campaign, we will begin introduce further, new initiatives of this campaign. As we do, we will develop both our work in that area and this web site. So come back often, as we grow to become a Sign of Hope for the world.

We are also asking people to commit to become involved in our church’s justice work. As a sign of this commitment order and wear one of our Signs of Hope, Practices of Love wristbands which you can order through GHDA.
