Facing the Future - the Evangelical Declaration
When the Sixth Biennial Convention of the ELCIC met in Toronto, July 23-27, 1997, it embraced the Evangelical Declaration. The convention said that this document would be "our church's vision for life and mission for the next decade" (1997-2007). "Since it is an important source and guide for the goals, objectives and strategies that are propelling us into the next millennium, I commend it to you." |
