August 22, 2005 Romans 10:15 says "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Help your congregation to share that good news by teaching them the stewardship of FAITH. For "But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him? And how are they to proclaim him unless they are sent?" (13-15a) Start the fall season off right in your congregation by introducing the ELCIC stewardship theme, Generations of Generosity. Based on Psalm 145 [one generation shall laud your works to another] and encouraging each Christian to tell another…in word or action…about our amazing God, this theme will help you to provide opportunities for the stories to be told.
